Frontend refers to the part of a web application that runs on the client-side. This part includes everything that users see on the website: buttons, forms, menus, page layouts, images and other visual elements. The frontend is built using technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is run through web browsers. Backend refers to the part of a web application that runs on the server-side. This part includes database management, user management, business logic, data processing, security and other technical functions. The backend is built in a programming language (for example, Java, PHP, Python) and using a web server (for example, Apache, Nginx). The frontend and backend work together to create a web application. The frontend creates the user interface and allows the user to interactively use the application. The backend receives and processes the user's interactions and stores the results. The frontend and backend pass data to each other to make the web application work. If we explain the steps, when developing a web application, the first step is the frontend design. Here, the focus is on the user experience and the user interface is created. After the frontend design is completed, the backend design is done. Here, technical functions such as database management, user management, business logic and data processing functions are created. At this stage, the backend and frontend designs are integrated. Frontend and backend can also be used as separate projects. For example, one team may create the frontend part of a web application and another team may create the backend part. In this case, both teams work according to their own goals and then combine the results. As a result, the frontend and backend are considered to be two components that are close to each other but have different functions. Both components are important for a web application to function correctly and work together to create a web application.
